Where does the real Pak Games APK come from?
The genuine Pak Games APK comes from one place: the operator’s own download link. PakGames.app does not host the file, and we never send APKs by message.
Our Download APK button takes you to the operator’s site, where the download starts or a download button is shown. Everything else carries risk. Here is how the common sources compare:

Why isn’t Pak Games on the Play Store?
Pak Games isn’t on Google Play because Google only lists real-money gambling apps in countries where the operator holds a local gambling licence. Pakistan does not issue one, and gambling is illegal here.
That has three practical effects for you:
- No Google review. Apps on Play are scanned and checked before listing. An APK from outside Play is not.
- No automatic updates. You install new versions yourself, from the same link.
- No easy way to report problems. There is no app store and no Pakistani regulator to complain to.
It also means the app is operating outside Pakistani law. Read whether Pak Games is legal in Pakistan before you install it.
How to download and install the Pak Games APK
Downloading and installing takes a few minutes on most Android phones. These steps assume Chrome, the default browser on most phones.
- Open Chrome on your Android phone.
- Tap our Download APK button to reach the operator’s download page.
- Tap the download button on the operator’s page.
- If Chrome warns that this type of file can harm your device, choose to keep the file. Chrome shows this for APK files downloaded from websites.
- Wait for the download to finish.
- Tap Open on the download notification, or find the file in Files → Downloads.
- If Android blocks the install, tap Settings in the pop-up and turn on Allow from this source.
- Go back and tap Install.
- If Play Protect shows a warning, read the section below before you decide.
- When you see App installed, tap Open.
- Log in or create an account.
Use a stable Wi-Fi or 4G connection. A download that cuts out halfway is the most common cause of install errors.
How to allow “Install unknown apps” on Android
Android blocks APK files from outside the Play Store until you give your browser permission to install them. The setting is in a different place depending on your Android version.

Phone makers rename and move these menus. Samsung, Xiaomi and Redmi, Infinix, Tecno, Oppo and Vivo phones all use their own wording, and it changes between software updates. The quickest way to find it on any brand:
- Open Settings.
- Tap the search bar at the top.
- Type “unknown” and open the result about installing unknown apps.
On newer phones you often don’t need to search at all. When you open the APK, Android shows a pop-up with a Settings shortcut that takes you straight to the right switch.
When the app is installed, turn the permission off again for Chrome. It stops other files from installing without you noticing.
What does the Google Play Protect warning mean?
Play Protect is Google’s built-in app scanner. It often warns about APKs installed from outside the Play Store, including genuine ones, so a warning does not prove the file is malware. It does not prove the file is safe either.
The exact wording changes between Android versions, but the warnings fall into two kinds:
- Google doesn’t recognise the app or its developer. Google has not reviewed this file. That is true of every APK from outside Play, including the real one.
- The app is harmful or has been blocked as unsafe. Google has matched the file to known harmful behaviour. Stop, cancel the install and delete the file.
Be honest with yourself about the risk. Nobody has reviewed this APK for you. Google hasn’t, and we haven’t inspected the file ourselves. When you install it, you are trusting the operator with your phone, your number and your payment details.
Some practical rules:
- Don’t turn Play Protect off to get any app installed. Keep it on so it can keep scanning.
- If you are not completely sure the file came from the operator’s link, don’t install it.
- If the warning worries you, use the mobile web version instead. It needs no install.
Pak Games on iPhone: is there an iOS app?
No. iPhones can’t install APK files, and Pak Games is not on the App Store. iPhone users can use the mobile web version in Safari, which uses the same account.
To put it on your home screen like an app:
- Open the Pak Games web version in Safari, using our Login or Register button.
- Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen.
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Tap Add.
The icon simply opens the website. If anyone sends you a “configuration profile” or an “enterprise app” to install Pak Games on iPhone, don’t accept it. Profiles can give a stranger control over parts of your phone.
How to update the Pak Games app
Pak Games does not update through Google Play, so you install each new version yourself. The app may show an update message, or the operator may post a new file on its download page.
- Open the operator’s download link again, the same way you did the first time.
- Download the new APK.
- Open it and tap Install (or Update). It installs over the old version.
- Open the app and check that you are still logged in.
Your balance is tied to your account, not to the app file. As long as you know your mobile number and password, reinstalling does not touch your money.
Be careful with two things. First, an “update” sent to you on WhatsApp or Telegram is a red flag. Second, if Android refuses to install an update over your current app because the package conflicts, the new file may be signed by someone else. Don’t uninstall the working app to force it in. Download again from the operator’s link.
How to tell the real Pak Games APK from a fake
Check two things: where the file came from, and what it asks your phone to allow. Fake APKs copy the logo and login screen, so the look of the app proves nothing.

To check permissions after installing, open Settings → Apps → Pak Games → Permissions. Also look in Settings → Accessibility and in the device admin list in your security settings. A game app should not appear in either.
A game never needs Accessibility, Device admin or permission to read your SMS. An APK that asks for these can read your OTPs and take over your wallet. Uninstall it straight away, change your passwords, and call JazzCash or EasyPaisa if you entered wallet details.

Common Pak Games APK download errors and fixes
Most install errors come from storage, a broken download or an old copy already on the phone. Find your message in the table:

We don’t list an APK version number or file size on this page. Numbers on other sites are often copied, out of date or made up, and we only publish them after confirming them ourselves.

To see which version is on your phone, open Settings → Apps → Pak Games. On most phones the version number is at the bottom of the App info screen. Some app builds also show it on the profile or settings screen inside the app.
